Atrium is Atlantic Canada’s leading furniture and home decor destination, with major tenants including Ashley Furniture, World Wide Furniture, and Gallery 1 Furniture, among other reputable home decor companies.
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Manager who will contribute to the marketing strategy for Worldwide Furniture, Ashley Furniture, and Gallery 1 Furniture; as well as execute and coordinate all collateral and assets required to execute the strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work with team on development of overall marketing strategy (includes online, social media, print, television, and radio); across 3 banners – Ashley Furniture, Worldwide Furniture, and Gallery 1 Furniture;
- Planning of promotional calendar and execution of all promotions;
- Managing marketing budgets for all stores – including promotion and branding activities;
- Creation of television and online video advertising assets (in-house and with third party suppliers);
- Generate ideas for creative marketing concepts unique in the furniture industry;
- Booking of all media and delivery of assets – radio, television, flyers, signage;
- Work with in-house Graphic Designer on execution of all marketing collateral required to effectively implement the marketing strategy;
- Implement digital strategies in-house, and act as liaison with external digital media suppliers;
- Writing of scripts and ad copy for campaigns – radio, television, print, digital;
- Assess the success of each campaign, including online analytics, evaluate sales and traffic results and implement improvements;
- Review website analytics;
- Conduct customer research to inform marketing strategy through surveys and contests.
- Work with Digital Marketing Coordinator to oversee all organic and paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Create email marketing campaigns;
- Build strong relationships with media outlets and promotional companies.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- 3-5 years in a Marketing role;
- Degree or Diploma with a focus in Marketing, Radio TV Arts, or Communication (or other relevant field);
- Digital marketing experience;
- Facebook Blueprint certification or equivalent experience with Facebook advertising is an asset;
- Google AdWords certification and/or experience is an asset;
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro is an asset; but not required
- Experience in campaign management is an asset.

- Analytical skills – working knowledge of online analytics;

- Planning skills – required to produce and follow a marketing plan, with associated budget;
- Strong attention to detail – particularly with editing and proof reading;
- Working within tight deadlines.
